About
I build software for installation crews and write about boat electrical systems. I live in Everett, Washington.
My work starts from the field. I’ve worked as an electrician on superyacht builds at Delta Marine Industries in Seattle, a yard that builds custom yachts up to 100 m (about 328 ft). I’ve done electrical and HVAC work on residential homes and large commercial projects, and automotive electrical work.
That work left one habit that runs through everything I make now: measure before deciding, and don’t trust a number you can’t trace. The book sources every figure. The calculator is tested against a published reference. AirOrchestra traces each line of a report to the person or the drawing it came from.
In 2026 I co-founded Torspan LLC with Andrei Tcelikov. It builds software for installation contractors, starting with AirOrchestra.
